Re: RPGWatch RPG of the Year
Thanks everyone! You have until the end of this week to cast a vote.
You'll notice that this year they didn't differentiate between "Indie" and "Mainstream" games, which means for good or bad we are in competition with the likes of Fallout: New Vegas and Dragon Age.
It may not be a fair comparison, but still, we've received enough positive feedback over the last few months to likely hold ourselves well against the big guys. Thanks again for your votes, everyone!!

...Too late for this, oh well.
Give us a link for the results, when they come out, though I can't imagine Eschalon competing with Dragon Age.
(Oh, and on a side note: I like your new avatar, Manus.)

Certainty: a character-driven, literary, turn-based mini-CRPG in which Vasek, legendary "Wandering Philosopher", seeks certainties in a cryptically insular, organic, critically layered city.

I don't understand the results. The voting was top-3 right? What does the % mean? The % of answers in which the game was included in the top 3? Is the site so big that they really have 40 editors, only one of which included Eschalon in the top 3(2,5%=1/40)?

I think the rankings are also weighted, Jumping Jack. Something like 5 points for 1, 3 points for 2, 1 point for 3. Then all the numbers were totaled and results determined. I don't know the specific formula they used, though.Jumping Jack wrote:I don't understand the results. The voting was top-3 right? What does the % mean?
