I'm currently level 14 and am wondering about a few things that I've come across.
- I've completely explored the lighthouse and was wondering if lighting the lighthouse does anything important? I received XP for activating the flames but I'm not sure what else is supposed to happen. The lighthouse boat is also interesting.
- The Strange Basement area, along with the entire Portal/Priest quest-line, seems really odd. I'm either not doing something right or the quest unveils itself after I've completed the Citadel.
- The only sidequest I haven't completed is the one where I need to find a book for the woman in Aridell. I have no clue where to look for this one.
Late game questions (SPOILERS)
The book was hidden in some dungeon behind a puzzle or a false wall. Don't remember which, it was one of those near Aridell. You shouldn't bother doing it, the reward is only a handful of exp and coins.
Personally I have no idea where the guy is you need to deliver the potion from the priest in Aridell to. It says west of the Salted Coast. Does that mean in the wastelands or on the Westside of the Salted Coast or what?

Hmm, I just went to the goblin citadel, but I had only 3 keys, yet I still could open the porticulis to the upper part. I was missing the gold key. The keys I had were: Giant key, Mage key, The key you got from the fortress in the beginning.
Where do you get the last key? And why did the gate open when I only had 3 keys.

The Gold Key took me a while to find, it's in the North part of Vela. There is a barrel you can break in town that allows the player to walk through an alley towards a bunch of slimes, north-west of that is a large group of goblins and a warlord.
BTW, I enjoyed the game! Beat it last night, 17 hours at level 16.
