Patch 1.01 and Macintosh Beta Testers news

In case you did see the topic in the Support forum, the front page has been updated with a link to the 1.01 patch and a call for Macintosh Beta Testers.

We are moving right along with patch 1.02. Mac beta testers will probably be testing 1.02 next week; Windows users can expect a patch then too.

I will do it on my IMac G5 (PowerPC). It would be interesting, and fun, to compare the two platforms, I have never beta tested anything in this way before, between a Mac and a PC.

Well, how this great games works on mac? I'm on mac, and waiting a mac vesrion

The Mac test starts next week. It will be a very short test because we are using the same base code for both versions, so the Windows players have already done their part in clearing our the bugs!

Our Mac Beta Test is really just a technical test to make sure the game runs on an assortment of Mac hardware and doesn't bomb out after 5-10 hours of play. As soon as a few Mac people tell me it looks good, we'll have it up for sale and a demo for download. I'm guessing by the first week of December it should be ready!
