Broken Blade House south of Sparrow

i am a mage lvl 13 and i have to bash doors and chests in with my lvl 10 mace. There is a house in broken blade south of sparrow where i try to bash the door in and it is impossible. i even used a couple kegs of powder and it still stands. what is in this house and is it worth it to bash the door down anyways?

It contains a citizens writ and a couple of containers with random content, I'm sure I read on a thread that the chair blocking the doorway round back is destructable though it isn't marked as such according to the editor.

It's a really tough door. If you hover your cursor over it and hold down the shift key, you should see how much strength it has left. As a mage, though, you may want to just go find the lock pick spell and save yourself the hassle.

Just go around and remove that dang chair! Barrels with gunpowder are just great..sometimes you need more than 1 though.

On my first playthrough, I sat there with Un-armed combat level 1, and probably 30 or so STR, just bashing away. Took a while, but the loot inside was decent.
