[spoiler] mithril bar dungeon

Post by dalamber »

Restarted my game as rogue type came to be really weak at level 8, and decidet not to rush on, but explore and complete side quests instead.

Can't seem to find a way to find mithril bar in the cellar though. I come in, open hidden door, open grates with a lever and come to a fork. To the left is a trapped passage endin with a closed grate, and to the right is a room with lever and salamander. Surprisingly enough, the lever won't open the grate in the trapped passage, so I'm lost and don't know where to go.

Suggestions anyone?

Spoiler in white text:
The gate lever opens another gate. The gate you can't open doesn't open with lever instead take a couple of steps back and the trap mechanism on the floor directly in front of the gate opens it.

think you need the door key to 44 56 (hit tab key to see coords of grid) to open the door at 39 61.

He's already bashed that in, from the sounds of it, since he's aware of the lever that opens the other gate.

One thing I've learned from my many restarts is not to save new games over existing ones. Sometimes the map stuff doesn't get cleaned up. Delete all your old saves before playing the new character. You can make a backup first, if you plan on going back to the rogue.
