Spoilers inside. Question about my remaining secrets unsolve

Are these anything? Or decoration?

Is this just for selling for gold?

3. Is it possible to kill the dragon at the end for an alternate ending? Maybe with the fire-proof gear?

4. Is there a location where high exp monsters spawn? I've run out of enemies at level 18 and want to level up my character a bit more.

5. Are there no big side-dungeons like the previous games? I really liked collecting the bells, killing the ghost guy under the dam, and later when it was implemented Farkamurth. Hopefully if there aren't any one or more will be added

Thanks.

4. Eastern Astral Range has a chance of 400 or 800 XP monsters appearing.

The only one of these I can answer is 4. In the area called "The Warlord's Pass" there are Lancer spiders for around 800 xp and phoenix's for around 400. It's South of Alundar's base area, and east of the Omentor temple exit.

No, these are just decoration and for selling for money.

Are you absolutely sure the Ulgolek branch is just for money? At a value of 400 I'm sure the great tree gave you one of its ancient branches for more than just 200 or so gold pieces.

I never found a use for it, but then I never tried it as a weapon. :)

I asked BW about it during testing, and he said that it was originally intended to be possible to get it crafted into a magic bow, but that never ended up being implemented.

Not so much "not implemented" -- we needed to have a few objects that could be used by modders for quest items. Hence, there are a few NPCs, items, and locations that are free for people to use in their mod projects.

While the branch was originally going to be a bow crafting quest, we decided that the branch could be made into almost anything and would make a great quest object for a modder.

Spontaneously, I was thinking of the end of all darkness related dungeon problems.

Behold!

Branch + Vellum linen + Demon Oil III = Everlasting torch

There is an item like this in Book III - just buy a luminous ring at your local magic shop.

I cannot fathom why all RPG games allow only two rings, especially since most rings are rather weak as extra oomph goes.
For I come from an ardent race
That has subsisted on defiance and visions.

It goes back to table top AD&D where you only allowed 2 rings at a time.

And the reasoning there was that having multiple magic rings on the same hand led to their magical auras interfering with each other.

That´s true, but I avoided this ring because I felt somewhat radiated. And it seems that your character is pretty well to see but not so much of the surrounding area which gives me the feeling that I am sitting ducks.
