Re: Eschalon: Book II 1up Review
Thanks. I wrote that because I've tried a warrior and had a real easy time the entire game... and now on my second playthrough I'm playing a mage and moving a bit slower. I tended to one-hit everything with the warrior, and that's not the case with the mage. Also, knocking down that nest near ...

Eschalon: Book II 1up Review
Hey I've recently written a review of Eschalon: Book II on my gaming blog. I'd really appreciate any feedback and comments. It's generally a pretty positive review as I really enjoyed the game and its predecessor. The review itself does include some extremely small spoilers. Anyway, thanks for ...

Re: The Orakur are WHAT?! (spoils)
I've played all the Exile/Avernum games... Besides the fact that the Orakur and Vahnatai look like stereotypical aliens, they are pretty damn unsimilar. The Vahnatai don't have superior technology... They have a very different system of MAGIC from the humans. And even the humans are better at the ...

Unreachable Zones
What's the point of putting in "entrances" to zones that you can't go to? I understood the ones around the dwarven city, as my character might reasonably not want to venture out into the tundra. I remember being particularly frustrated when it told me I couldn't enter the Yoma Springs Cavern. The ...

Re: ruel and the book (am I done?)
Keep playing... you'll hear more about the Orakur later. As for the room below the library, there may be something in there that will peak your interest... but it's unrelated.

Re: Make the towns more like Baldur's Gate!!
Yeah I got a similar feeling when I was running around the cities... Port Kuudad wasn't really filled either. I remember walking into an inn somewhere in the slums of Baldur's Gate and some drunk fools insulted my main character and challenged him to a duel. It would be cool to see that sort of ...
