Good to know, thanks. I'm back to playing now.

Alright - I reached Port K in 1.3 hours of gameplay, and I was only level 3 when I reached it. I went in with a citizen's writ from Sparrow's house in Broken Blade. Talking with Saint Gilhiem(?) brought me to level 4. Any suggestions what I can do to level up a bit more? I've done all of the quests from Eastwillow, but can't do any of the ones from Everdale yet.

You should be strong enough to deal with bandits east of the Farrock Range and the caves underneath. You may have to retreat to heal after each one. Also the red wolves in the forest. I'd hold off on the sewers and mire trolls. But you can reach the next place if you run past mire trolls.

Zeblin will train for locks, but you need some lock and trap skill to get to him. :(
You don't need any lock or trap skill to get to Zeblin, if you're able to punch down the doors and walk off the traps. ;-)

Failing to disarm a trap does not fail the True Thief challenge. If I notice them all, I will eventually get through it, slowly but surely. I do have 1 point in Pick Locks as well, so I can get any door, it will just take a large number of lock picks.

Alright, here's my nightly update:
I have played for 5.0 hours so far, level 11 character. I've already killed all of the boreheads, they weren't even as hard as I expected.
I've got 25 strength, and 45 endurance. 24 Unarmed Combat, 12 Dodge, and 5 Pick Locks.
I'm still going good for the True Thief challenge, which has been the hardest so far. I failed to notice a trap on a chest behind the first shop by the Port K quick-travel until after I had picked the lock. Did you guys know there is a different loot menu for chests with traps, and one without. I'm playing on a predetermined seed, and the loot changed once I reloaded and found the trap. I did tests to be sure that was what was happening.
Not having to buy weapons or armor is good. As I said, level 11 and I've got 4000 coins, and haven't sold Hexedge yet.
I thought for sure I would fail the True Healer Challenge when I attacked the magic store owner in Everdale. I didn't though. I did, however, lose it when I killed Sparrow. I felt guilty killing her - she sounded kind of helples every time I punched her. I'm on my way to Raven's Gate to head to Durnore now, but I've got to get to bed. I'll be back to playing in under 12 hours though because I don't have school tomorrow.

Game Stats:
My highest hit was a 96, that was with my feat.
I've got 227 kills
Completed 18 Quests
I'm looking good on, and hopefully will keep until end-game all of the following challenges:
The True Thief
The True Warrior
The Untouchable
The Alchemist (Easy, why would I buy potions I'm not going to use?)
The Immaculate

I'm also hoping to have
The Wealthy Lord
The Hellbringer
by the end of the game. I've got one question: Where's the guy who buys my petrified wood? All it's doing is taking up weight in my inventory.

Petrified wood is the guy in Wolfenwood that teaches forage, bows, and thrown weapons. Take the northwest path at the bucket.

You could make a save outside Talushorn and finish the game with and without doing Bells.

The trainer who wants the petrified wood is actually a female who teachers ranger types. You have to head into the forest south of Everdale to find her.

I'm a little stuck. I've entered Hammerlorne, but found a problem. There are Dwarvern Spirits, but I can't attack them. I 'need a 'weapon or magical enchantment capable of dealing extra damage'
I'm not going to just give up the whole unarmed combat, but there isn't exactly a way to leave the behind, and I might trap myself if I go in for the lever.
My starting skill was Cleaving Weapons, so I've got 1 point in that, and I haven't yet found a vendor who can afford to buy Hexedge. Should I just quickly kill them with it, or simply try to avoid them?

When I was playing for True Warrior Challenge (or whatever it's called) with Unarmed Combat, I just had to avoid them - using something like Hexedge would have broken the True Warrior Challenge.

So I just avoided them, so it can be done.

True Warrior challenge ways Magically enhanced weapons are okay, but now that I know it's possible to avoid them, that's what I'll be doing anyway. Thank you!

Won't a Bloodlust ring solve your problem?

I bloodlust ring will fail the True Warrior challenge. No rings or Amulets, though magically enhanced armor and weapons are okay is what it says. It's alright though - I'm past that part now.

Alright: Here's my update:
I am now level 15 or so, and I just finished Hammerlorne. Had to make two extra trips in to carry out all of my loot. I now have almost 12000 coins.
My endurance is 50, and I regain 1 HP per turn, so I've been putting two points into Strength and one into Endurance every level up. I think my Strength is around 40.
I just got 30 Unarmed Combat, I'll be going to 32 so I have maximum feat regen.
My dodge is around 15-16. That's working really well - I throw enemies off balance really easily. I've also got Pick Locks 9 now. What level should I get that to until I have a fair chance ((5, 10%, somewhere in there) of picking an adamantium lock? It's really annoying not being able to open those.
I also went through the Thieves Arcadia this morning. It wasn't as hard as I was hoping, I think I could have gone earlier. I saved right before talking with Zeblin, and for the first time, didn't kill him. He could only train me up to level 8 Pick Locks though, so I re-loaded, and turned him down. He was at least a challenge with my fists.
You guys have no idea how easy Mire Trolls are now. I can punch away half of their life with my feat.

Next stop: Lorewitch. It will be sad to sell Emberdark - I have always loved that sword. In fact, I named my flashdrive after it. It's worth 5000 though, so I will definitely sell it. After I get the plasma wand, I might try and kill all the wizards in there. There spells are probably no match for my fists. We'll see though.

Lock picking formula:
Chance to pick% = pick locks skill level * 3 + dexterity/3 + 50 - Lock Level * 10
Maximum success rate is 99%, minimum success rate is 1%

You are looking at -100% for the hardest lock (level 10) so you probably want pick lock skill about 20 unless you plan to really raise dexterity.
