And I regret my Steam purchase as well. I wish I would've done it direct to give Basilisk Games some more money!

I'd recommend looking up Baldur's Gate Trilogy (http://www.spellholdstudios.net/ie/bgt). It allows you to play through Baldur's Gate I, Tales of the Sword Coast, and Baldur's Gate II Shadows of Amn all as one game using the Baldur's Gate II engine.

I think that you should allow character hacking because it's just not worth your time to try and prevent it unless you're going to have online leaderboards or something like that.

Maybe there's a way to allow character hacking but to flag the savefile that the character has been altered (of course ...
