Basilisk Games Announces Next Title!
We are extremely excited to announce our next title, Eschalon: Book Zero in development now for the original Nintendo Entertainment System. This time we’re taking “old school” to a whole new level with this epic 100 hour game crammed into a 6 megabit cartridge, designed exclusively for the NES.
And here is a clip of the NES theme music for Book Zero: Book_Zero_Theme
If your anticipation for this game is too extreme, you can purchase the full-length music track now directly from the composer here!

I’m not buying it until it is ported to the Commodore 64. Sorry.
Love the chiptune!
Looking forward to this game – it’s certainly a step upwards in graphical quality and fidelity from Book 2!
I vote for port to this device:

That’s ace!
I better stop wasting money on the arcade and start saving for a NES.
(BTW, _great_ main theme version. Already bought it)
Good one
I’m holding out for the Vic-20 release!
Shame this is a joke… I’d buy it.
Wonderdul news !!!
I am very happy to see the Eschalon Series expanding.
Take care.

Good one! Love the music!
When there is Pier Solar for the Sega Genesis ( http://www.piersolar.com ) why not a new RPG for NES? Do it!
hehe great! Nice soundtrack btw!
Shouldn’t the copyright be “19XX”?! LOL!
[...] the Basilisk website Thomas is also offering soundtrack themes from the game: And here is a clip of the NES theme music [...]
Why don’t you guys make a version for Snes?
it’s sure, it will be great!!!
I’m with Vans. I’ll pass until the C64 release. However I guess a VIC20 port would be cool two. It would be my third VIC20 game with graphics!
Its April 21st and im still wishing it were true…
