Forums are down

After our web host updated the back-end software, our forums were killed. We’re looking into some solutions. Most people who visit the forums are looking for solutions to quests or tech support. If this is you, Google is your friend.

In other news, we’re still here. Hello, how have you been?

Crap! Was just replaying Eschalon Book II and was coming back to the forums after a long time. I hope you’ve been well.

I check in about once a month, always hoping for some information on your next game. As long as I see that you’re still alive, I am happy to wait another month. <3

It doesn’t look like the database was affected (users and posts are fine), just the software that runs it all is broken. Hopefully we’ll get some answers this week.

Just keep checking back to see if the forums are back yet. Hope all else in your development world is going well in the meantime.

We’re still trying out some new software to move our forums to while keeping the database intact. Development has slowed since the coronavirus shut everything down, but we’re still doing what we can.

Hello people at Basilisk and everyone I miss from the forums! I hope you’re doing well. I recently installed all games again as the previous ones got stuck on my now dead laptop’s hdd, along all the awesome mods I had added. I came here to find all that stuff, but as the forum is down, I’m stuck here. Is there anyone around who has some of them downloaded? Any way to share?

I really hope you guys will get the forums up again, I can’t wait to add all that neat stuff back. If anyone knows where to find some of the mods, clue me in. 😉

There is no subscription fee to play the Eschalon games. Just a one time purchase of each game.

For those seeking help they could check this link: https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://basiliskgames.com/forums/ , in the interim while Basiliskwrangler is dealing with this software issue.
