This coming Friday, November 26th, we have decided to run our own Black Friday sale! For those of you outside the U.S. who might not know what this means, Black Friday is the day after the American Thanksgiving holiday that marks the first official shopping day of the Christmas season. It is generally a day when retailers have all sorts of great sales.
And so, here is our exclusive Black Friday offer: if you purchase Eschalon: Book II, we will give you a FREE COPY of Eschalon: Book I!
Here are the requirements for the sale:
- This sale runs from 12:01am to 11:59pm EST on Friday, November 26.
- You must buy Eschalon: Book II from us, not through Steam, Direct2Drive, Impulse, etc.
- The day following the sale (Saturday, November 27th) we will look through the orders and send out an Eschalon: Book I download link to everyone who purchased Book II the previous day.

I’m sorry Dave! We figured this might upset a few customers who recently bought Book I. This is not so much about giving people a free copy of Book I, as much as it is an incentive to get people to buy Book II.

Missing a sale is a part of life … no big deal. I bought Book I last summer and its been on sale a few times since then. I am happy that my money will help support such an awesome company! NOW WHERE IS MY BOOK III!!! 😀

I too bought book I a couple of weeks ago. Perhaps we could get a discount on book II on November 26 if we recently purchased book I?

It matters little, which version someone buys, the difference in price is negligible. Yeah, a discount would be great.

While looking through my Steam library I rediscovered the Book 1 demo couple of weeks ago and fell in love immediatly, but I’m always a little short in money. I prefer buying games like this from the developer themselves rather then Steam, so this is a very good opportunity for me. Keep up your awesome work! 🙂

Just missed out on my second sale. I am not on the computer all the time but will get the DVD game anyway. Love what I’ve seen of the demo and can only expect better in the full version and the new add on. Have to quit dragging my feet on those things I am really interested in. I am hoping to get this for my adult daughter’s birthday gift (VERY belated!)
She dual boots windows and Kubuntu, with a marked preference for the Linux, and has recently acquired a used macbook. I would really hope that the Book I is the same as the Book II, all three versions.

Luckily my attempt to purchase Book I failed – because I saw only 10 seconds later that Sale and will now get Book II instead (want to start playing with Book I, but don’t mind getting a nice DVD either :). Thank you for supporting Linux 🙂
