We’ve just updated Eschalon: Book II to version 1.04. A long list of fixes and tweaks can be found here. If you bought the game from us, you can download the newest version from the downloads page. Just uninstall your old version and reinstall the newest.
If you bought the game through Steam, Impulse, Direct2Drive or any other distributor, you’ll need to wait for them to update their versions sometime next week.

Downloaded the updated game from filefront, the game and installer still say 1.01

Looking at the mirrors, it appears that Filefront is using the 1.01 exe but the title of the download says 1.04

@Daniel…sorry, it seems we have had a lot of problems with FileFront. They had a messed up link with version 1.03 as well. We’ll get it fixed.

Hi, I’ve tried the demo to it’s full extent and I enjoyed it. But I am curious thou about the details from the files. I’d like to download the new 1.04 patch (which means I need to uninstall the current version), my guess is that the some files stays in the “My documents” section since otherwise saves and such are lost. Does the key upload itself as “used up” on the internet database or is it simply saved on the harddrive somewhere that unlocks the game for you? I’d like to know before I need to purchase the game twice for playing at my laptop and/or on my stationary computer as it would help me transfer my saves for personal use.

@Dennis: Your saved files will not go away if you uninstall the game. Your Reg Key will work with all versions of the game no matter where you install the game to, even if you install the game on more that one computer that you own. The code can never be “disabled” by a remote server.

I hate to whine but… FileFont is still v1.01 despite the page showing it as v1.04.
Gamershell/Atomic Gamers only support single download connection which is very slow for me due to my ISP. Filefont I can get full speed as it supports multiple connections.
Please fix filefont or consider alternative filehosting that supports multiple connections.
