Based on a great deal of feedback, we are happy to announce the availability of Eschalon: Book II version 1.02. It is a recommended update for everyone since there are a few notable bug fixes, however since there have been no “game breaking” bugs reported, this update is optional.
Here are the release notes, if you are interested: Version 1.02 Release Notes
You can get the latest version from the downloads section. The best way to update is to uninstall the old version (your current saved games will remain) and then install this new version.
More download links will be posted as the file is mirrored!

As of this moment, FileFront still only has version 1.01, but GamersHell has version 1.02.

You are right. We took down File Front until they get the right version up, and we added Atomic Gamer.

Please have mirrors that allows multiple concurrent connections. Most of those that I used for downloading 1.01 was extremely slow, probably due to that I am not in the states.

Please have mirrors to sites like mediafire or somewhere else besides the usual links you provided preferably those that allows multiple connections.
Just as example I was downloading up to 80% from GamersHell at 300kbps when it stopped! My usual speed is 400-500KB/s.

Me so happy 😉

When the notes say “- Fixed a number of grammar and spelling errors.” How many errors are we actually talking?

Couple of comments on Hardcore mode. I know you can’t save when there is enemies around but its silly you can’t load a save game either. Also seems silly can’t save the game within towns as npcs are shown red, they are not enemies!
Al3xand3r
You can save in towns just fine, you can’t rest however (so use an inn, or get just outside town). Perhaps there’s a monster near where you tried to save in the town, or you got an NPC to be hostile to you?

Downloaded ver 1.03 and have twice encountered Microsoft bluescreen. In one instance I hit the quicksave while an enemy was on the screen, and in the other, I am not sure about this but, I think along with the Equipment and Inventory windows I had the Mix/Recipe window open and tried to quick reload.
